Blog? What blog?

Just kidding... I know I'm a slacker. LOL! Life has been overwhelming lately, with a lot of changes... but I think they are more or less under control now ;)

I have a whole new floor throughout my house that I think looks FAB-U-LOUS. My bf and his friend did a phenomenal job and cranked it out in less than 2 days of work!!!

I am now around 17 weeks pregnant, and feeling much better... no more 24 hour hangover feeling for this chicka..... just tired as heck but I think I've felt this way for the last 10+ years ;)

My bf now lives with us, and that has been an adjustment that I think will continue for awhile... after 4 years on my own with just the kiddos and me, it's very hard to share your home with someone else, let me tell you! But things are going ok and I'm sure in time, I will forget all about the adjustment period. LOL!

I have vowed to put scrapping back at the top of my priority list. Now that I have someone here to help me with the house cleaning, and all of the little things that were starting to take up more and more of my 'free time', it's going to be a lot better to get my creative juices flowing..... and I can't wait! Scrapping is my biggest passion (aside from the kids of course) and I can't wait to see what my itchy little hands come up with in the coming year!!

So there is a little sneak peek of the December kit at Love is in the Details floating around... and I think I'll post it here for you to see too!! Melanie did such a great job (as per usual!) putting this gem together, and I know you will love it too.... Mmmmmm Peppermint Dreams!!!

It's November 1st, and as much as I don't want it to be November, it's an exciting day because it's our monthly kit reveal on Love is in the Details! I believe it's my favorite day of each month. :) The reveal this month is awesome, truly awesome!! The kit is chock full of gorgeous papers, embellishments, all mixed and matched perfectly!

My Creative Team definately stepped up to the plate, in fact I'll go as far as saying that they jumped OVER the plate on this kit!! I have to run... I'm kicked out of my house and staying at my moms with the kids this weekend while I'm getting laminate floor put down on the ENTIRE main floor... it's a mess and I'm happy I'm not around for it, but I am very ready to get home and get everything back into place!!

Mel has proven yet again that she has the knack and the eye to throw together different manufacturers and make it look like it was MADE to be put together on a layout..... so hats off to you, Mel!!!

I decided to throw some cards into the hop, which a lot of you know are NOT my forte whatsoever... LOL!! But, I wanted to show that even if you don't love making them or struggle with them, this kit makes it easy because the papers blend SO well together.

I was the last one to bed last night, and the first one up this morning with Makenna.... and since it seems that nobody wants to do anything just yet, I'm sitting at the scrappy table staring at my November kit from LIITD and trying not to drool on my keyboard ;) I can't wait to show everyone!!!

So I am getting new flooring in my house! The entire upstairs is going to be redone with laminate, it got here last night courtesy of my bf's truck from the city.... I can't say I completely love it just yet, but hopefully once it's down and all done, I will :) I just can't wait to replace my kitchen floor most of all, because it's seriously nasty. LOL!

We're gearing up for winter too... it's been fairly cool here the last few weeks, and we did see the white stuff one day but there's nothing on the ground right now. I'm hoping it holds off until after the kids are done their trick or treating on Halloween!! Tayla is being a witch, Jackson is being a storm trooper, and Makenna is being Sleeping Beauty... I can't wait to see them all dressed up!

I'm almost done my first trimester with my 4th baby on the way.... and I am hoping that once I hit the second one, I will start feeling much better. I have been feeling absolutely horrible since pretty much the day I found out, it's like a non-stop hangover 24/7 where you just don't want to move for fear of getting sick. LOL!! Hopefully I will hear the heartbeat at my appointment next week and I can finally get really excited, because for me, I have to hear that for it to fully hit me and to really start getting excited about the whole thing!!

But I suppose I should get on these chores so that I can sit and play with my scrappy stuff later on today, I can't wait to dig in!!!! Have a great weekend everyone!

World Cardmaking Day!!

I am the first to admit, I'm not fond of making cards. However, I'm the first to admit that I prefer to receive a handmade card from someone over a bought one. :) Today is World Cardmaking Day, and I say we celebrate it!!!
