What is happening, where is our summer going?!?! It is zipping by already and I don't think I like that very much!! LOL! We've been to the beach a total of twice, both times we raced down there after I was done work to enjoy some sun and sand. The kids love it there, I just wish I had more time to take them. Tayla is like a fish, once she gets into the water you don't see her again until you literally have to pull her out! LOL!
I've been making time for my scrap table, and it feels great. Lately it's becoming more of a therapy again than anything, so I don't want to let it go..... I get to start working on the August kit already, and I can't wait to show some peeks to you later on ;) It's awesome!
Work is proving to be a test of my patience.... I'm not sure I want to stick it out forever, and if things continue to get worse instead of better, I'll definately be looking for something else to pay the bills. It's just not good when you dread going to work every single day :( Hopefully it will turn around soon....
I finished a layout last night of my son Jackson... he doesn't let me take his picture normally... usually they are candids with him not looking or if he's looking he's being ridiculously silly. So I was very happy to get this picture of him, and I think it's one of my favorites. He's growing so much, hard to believe he is going into Grade 2 in the fall.....
This is my cousin Jason with his first little baby.... He and his wife Jana had a baby boy named Ethan on June 2nd. I was so excited they came up for July 1st and I was able to cuddle Ethan and let me tell you, it was hard putting him down!! LOL!
I took these pictures of my friend Mike and his daughters Astrid and Kylee on July 1st, and needed to do a layout. If I find a 12x12 frame I'll put it in and send it down to him. He is such an awesome dad, and they are such awesome girls... that the title really goes both ways. They are very lucky to have a devoted dad like him, he doesn't live with them for the last almost year, but has them for every single one of his days off, which isn't a big deal until you realize he works 4 weeks in and 2 weeks out at a time... so for 2 weeks straight he makes them #1 and to me especially, I know how rare that is and how lucky the girls are.... I think every father can take some lessons from Mike. :)
I hope you all have a great weekend!!! Soak up some sun if you got it!!!!!!
